July 28 – August 2, 2019 at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops
New Mexico is the land of enchantment, photographically and otherwise. Late July is a particularly beautiful time to be there, with temperatures typically in the 80s, and enough weather for better-than-typically-interesting skies. The class runs Sunday, July 28th through Friday, August 2nd. There is a Sunday evening Welcome Cocktail Reception with light dinner, and the course will complete with Friday evening dinner & Image Presentations. Join us!
We’ll make new friends, new pictures, and work on whatever the next step is for each of us, technically and aesthetically. This workshop integrates shooting trips around beautiful Santa Fe with Lightroom time in our state-of-the-art digital lab, and provides the encouraging environment, expert instruction, and individual attention you need to take your work to the next level. Learn to transform your RAW files into photographs that “sing.” Learn a workflow that includes Lightroom’s most powerful local-adjustment tools, as well as everything you need to know to take the guesswork out of making museum-quality inkjet prints.
Join us for this special workshop and learn something new – about photography, and about yourself.
New Mexico isn’t known as the “land of enchantment” for nothing.
Below are just a few photographs New Mexico has kindly gifted to me over the years:
Prerequisite: Participants should be comfortable with Macintosh computers and Lightroom.
What to bring: Please arrive for class with all of your working tools ready to go – cameras, works-in-progress, lots of your own RAW files to work on, as well as hard drives/jump drives with adequate storage space to bring your work home. Please also bring questions, ideas, intentions, a desire to explore what’s next for you, and work to share with the class. We will work exclusively in Adobe Lightroom. Computer workstations and printers are provided in the digital lab.
